Our technician disassembled the instrument and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected it using an eco-friendly cleaner or an ultrasonic machine, depending on the level of filth. The instrument was then hand-polished, and the keys were lightly buffed. They straightened any bent keys, replaced 5 worn or damaged pads, replaced and adjusted key corks as needed, replaced a missing left-hand thumb rest, lubricated the hinge connections, and regulated and adjusted the instrument to good playing condition.
